OT Lizzie, To repeat what I said, "Webservices started in 1994."

There is absolutely no debate on my factual statement here.

An open-minded response might have been, "why do you think webservices started in 1994?"

I know a founder that started a webservice company in 1994, with clients such as large F500 corporations frequently mentioned on various SI threads.

There's absolutely no confusion about when my friend started his company.

On another note, you had originally asked me what the grad students should do. Protocol is: don't ask a question, if you are unable to respect a different opinion. I am entitled to my opinion that webservices is sufficiently mature enough to be handled overseas, in a math-dominated country. And it is certainly possible my opinion is wrong.

You are also fully entitled to your opinion.

It is possible for two people to respectfully disagree.

Regards,
Amy J
