BUt none of those Republican Senators and Congressmen had the guts to vote Clinton out of office. The nation was watching eyeball to eyeball, and those Republican Senators winked. Dare them to have voted Hillary's husband out of office. Coulter, Drudge, Hannity take note. The Americans are coming in 2004 and send all of you packing. Power speaks through the barrel of the ballot not through verbal bullets that you folks have hurled and continue to hurl.

Ann, you made the following comment "...Is the USA ready for a foreign-born First Lady? I doubt it."

If we have to choose between a VP Cheney who is a crook and a foreign born First Lady in Teresa Heinz Kerry who is compassionate and family oriented, one who is still trying to come to grip with the tragic death of her first husband. Hey lady, I would pick her. Shame on you that being a woman yourself, you would tear another woman apart like that.

It is not the American style of politics where we go after family members whether it be Dr. Judy Steinberg Dean, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton (then) and now Teresa Heinz Kerry. I hope you will take out frustration on someone else and at least not on one of your kind in that way. Remember, she just married and followed her husband like any other woman and we need to commend her for that along with other first ladies.
