Colin Powell would be best VP for GW. That could happen. Powell testified to Senate Foreign Relations Comm today. Sen Lugar, chairman, said each one of them read all the intelligence info available pre-Iraq & every comm member came to same conclusion that Saddam Hussein must go. Pres Clinton had stated that same conclusion when in office. Dems are simply wasting their time arguing about wisdom of Iraq action. Majority of Americans agree that it was necessary. There are many other issues with which Dems could make direct hits. Dems have managed to choose the one candidate of large field who has numerous weaknesses; hopefully they can identify the campaign issues where Bush is vulnerable.
