This country was built on foreign capital. I do not see any reason to become especially anxious about it. If interest rates are attractive, there will be buyers of bonds. If they are not, whether foreign or American, rates will be driven up. Also, wealth is not exported, dollars are. Eventually, they have to make their way back, for example, by buying goods and services, or they do no one any good. In fact, most are probably either banked in the United States, or are directed towards other forms of investment.
