YES: His argument is based on this one easily missed assumption: "The total federal government debt held by the public" is the debt that matters. In fact, it is intragovernmental debt that has SKYROCKETED the last decade, whilst public has only grown at a rapid clip. publicdebt.treas.gov
Why focus on the one and ignore the other???
