"War on Terror"

What terror is or was Iraq associated with? Bush, I don't think, every formally uses the phrase to describe the War in Iraq as a war on terror....but he constantly implies it. Gov. Pataki (NY) this AM, on the other hand, was not at all so subtle....he just came back from a 2 day visit at Bush's request.

re:" You seem to be conflating his comments after the "major action" was over, and WMDs had been found, "

What WMD were found? When Blix gave his two reports to the UN, he was quite negative about finding any WMD and the Bushies were not happy with him.......he was trashed unmercilessly on this thread..... He did note that there were things unaccounted for....he wanted more time, you recall....only two more weeks. Bush refused to give it to him, but has now spent almost a year and more than 600 million dollars looking himself.
