7:21AM DELL upgraded at Raymond James 33.57: Raymond James upgrades Dell Computer to Strong Buy from Outperform and raises their target to $41 from $40 after the co beat consensus by a penny; firm says there is wide evidence of an improved IT spending environment that is now spreading to large enterprises, and a tailwind from falling component prices and/or better IT spending could easily move the co to its 9-10% operating margin goal; also, while the co's cost advantage may well have been reduced, firm says it still has one, and with a well-established brand and leading mkt share, the co does not need as large a cost advantage as it enjoyed several years ago.
