Call me cynical. It's crossed my mind that Khaddafi fooled around with wmd, then gave in, all for political/economic reasons. He hasn't been much of a threat for years.

Libya is broke. Khaddafi has little choice. Libya is one of the few nations in the world that we do not have income data. I suspect the people are making a couple hundred dollars per year on average.

And once again, let me repeat........Saddam was complying. That's why I asked you what were you expecting.
