Obviously, others among the judges could have voted differently. Obviously, had they decided to take the time to re-count fairly, it is NOT a given that Gore would have won. Sadly, Gore's recount requests were never for fair counting, but rather for stilted counting(again, as ruled upon 7-2 by the Supreme Court). Had Gore asked for something fair and by the rules from the start, things may have worked out differently(I'd respect him much more, for one thing). He is the Candidate who is guilty hands down without further research or evidence, of being ridiculously unfair in asking only for unprecedented unconstitutional forms of counting.
