I am thinking hard here to find a reason why, the only one I find is for the FED bring an artificial inflationary fear into the market and jack up interest rates, as Volcker did in 80/81.

... it may seem that way, but in fact the world is very long in the Dollar.

I think it is still early days for the Dollar's fall. The Euro is ONLY 7% above its issue price!
