Not only did Cli'ton appoint Tenet as head of the CIA, but he also refused for eight years to meet with him face to face. Talk about diss'ing an entire agency of government!!

You can live in denial, and you can embrace whatever parochial dreams you wish, but don't try to get the rest of us to buy into it.

Whatever terms they were on, he was not a Bushie. Your impression of Kay's interim report notwithstanding, he did not merely spout a party line, or he would have continued with "wait and see". Your serious doubts aside, the French are eager to repair the relationship. And who knows what was being discussed as options in the backrooms, as regards regime change.......
