I didn't say a word about Arnold but since you seem to think I did I will say that I liked what Arnold had to say. I would have voted to keep Davis in office because I felt the recall wasn't started in California but by the RNC the whitehouse, or both. Face it California was the victim of a dirty trick and they fell for it. The republicans tried to get Arnold to run against Davis in the real election but he declined. Then he allowed them to slip him in the backdoor.

You are right about progressive republicans being strong candidates in a general election because they can get a lot of crossover votes like mine. You are also right about them having trouble in the primaries because of the overabundance of far right wing republicans.
