"China will do a hostile takeover of Liverpool or Manchester." Land and real estate used to be dirt cheap in these northern industrial cities. China will have to "pay up" should they do an LBO! Hong Kong has already spawned a wealthy class of international Chinese however, who, as individuals, have snapped up real estate in Vancouver, London, and New York. Did you hear the joke about the American Refugee laborers--who crashed yet another boat on the Chinese coast--looking for jobs?
