Lizzie,
I understand your analysis but we will be giving something even more important than jobs away by electing Kerry. He has characterized himself as an "internationalist." That's shorthand for an American politician who believes we need to conform to the UN's view of the world.

I was anxious as well to have trade & job outsourcing gain front & center position in national dialogue. The campaign is accomplishing just that.
Next 9 mos should be very eventful on both issues.

Outsourcing is another simmering issue destined to come to the forefront.

If you examine the American Trade policy, they encourage you to go overseas. I mean even Greenspan was saying that it is cheaper to import than to manufacture here. And I am wondering about buying, the power to buy cheaper goods when people do not have jobs. Am I missing something or what.

All those who try to throw mud on Kerry increase the chances of keeping Bush in office and with that the misery of the country will be stretched for 4 more years. I hope people will get out of the Dean hangover and seriously start to look ahead.
