He's been even more coddled than Bush. A man's actions speak louder than his words. Kerry picked up Dean's campaign platform & pretends they were his ideas. It's a common tactic in politics but beware of the candidate who ignored those issues before the idea heist. Kerry was born to wealth, educated in Swiss boarding school, has modeled his political career after the original JFK(who he evidently idolized). Career: Commendably enlists in Navy & earns medals in Vietnam. He returns home & runs for office in Mass. Upon election loss, he becomes prominent in a war protest organization where he demonstrates with a traitor like Jane Fonda. Liberals in Mass elect him to Senate(what were they thinking??). He then votes against every military weapon currently being used by the U.S. military in Iraq. Personal life: he married an heiress from Main Line, Philly(only worth $200M) then dumps her while she's struggling with depression. I suspect he might have caused her malaise. Then he finally looks at his 2nd heiress, Teresa Heinz(worth $500M) as his campaign ticket to the White House. His opponent is a guy who was indeed born to wealth & attended Yale just like Kerry. However, his choice of a life's partner was a school teacher rather than a couple heiresses. Bush did serve his country in National Guard like millions of other fine American men at the time. Instead of entering government immediately after school, he spent yrs as private businessman which better qualifies him to govern than a life-time politician. No one denies that the fact his father was Pres helped him become Repub nominee in 2000. Let's not forget that we had 2 Presidents named Roosevelt & Adams as well. Although he didn't choose to be Pres of U.S. when the homeland was attacked by terrorists, Bush has conducted himself with stolid determination through both Afghanistan & Iraqi actions. American people would never question his re-election at this point, if our domestic agenda was not understandably neglected while the Bush Adm was distracted with the War on Terror. As of now, Bush has my vote but events from now until Nov could change my mind. I will not vote for John Kerry under any circumstances. He will place our country under rule of UN. He has already described himself as an "internationalist," which is a warning of what will happen if he becomes President.
