The guy did everything he could to stay alive including living in a hole..... he could have put a fight or dozens of other things if he didn't care.... Your logic escapes me.

Saddam? Suicidal? Like all tyrants, he is a coward and would do anything to stay alive. Heck, he was holed up and came out with his arms held high, didn't he?! He didn't exactly go down with all guns blazing (and he didn't have more than a few pitiful anti-aircraft guns, let alone WMDs)
