Hmmm, a long time ago.... like 3 or 4 weeks and well back into the past, the media was giving Bush a free pass on his notoriously "deserter-like" record as a flyboy who lost his wings. If anyone group looks ridiculous in this tawdry episode it is the claven of corporate media whores who have been dutifully bamboozling and bluffing the American public about Bush for the past decade. Ann Richards couldn't get any traction in 1994 exposing Bush's record, because the media unfairly took sides in that election. And it's been downhill for the nation ever since, as the media whores continue to lie to the public and lick their chops at how much their bribes have been turned into idiot policy by Bush and Little Mikey Powell.
