I read an article about six months ago in the Houston Chronicle, as I recall, about a guy in Pennsylvania who was a truck driver layed off. He applied to HAL to drive semis in Iraq. I don't save links like that because I see 50/day as I'm sure most people on SI do -- unless they're RWEs. <ggg> Those at the top of HAL -- and the Carlyle group -- "make" the "big money." Employees of the company risk life and limb for such jobs. And stockholders should beware, as well.
