I find the way the media covers the story more fascinating than the story, frankly. This started out as a "process" thread.

I tend to react to things as either interesting or not interesting. What or whom I like or dislike or agree or disagree with is less meaningful to me than what or who is interesting or not.

But there are limits. I have bemoaned the tendency to engage in partisanship rather than analyzing issues, but gossip mongering is a further step down from partisanship. We are getting the campaign we deserve, I'm afraid. I can't bear to watch the "process" if it has degenerated into gossip. I like to think of humanity as wondrous. I deal with my cognitive dissonance by tuning the campaign out. <g>

Perhaps I should look at the glass as half full. After all,it could get worse. It could degenerate into violence.
