Ok, you all force me to tell MY fish story. I caught what would now be a record Large Mouth Bass WITH MY BARE HANDS. It weighed 18 pounds 7 oz. I was fishing from the bank when I saw this fish struggling out in the water. I waded out and it was a big bass with another fish stuck in its mouth too big to swallow. I removed the other fish, gave the bass artificial respiration and it slowly swam away. I thought that was that. We camped out on the bank of the lake and the next morning that bass was floating belly up. I pulled him out and weighed him. Should have had the mother stuffed but I was young and dumb and just threw him away. jdn
