Just curious, Al. Let's say you're correct that the "invasion was premeditated and deliberate". The answer that I believe best fits the question lies in the open doctrines of the PNAC married to the foreign policy weakness of gwb...members of the PNAC are strikingly hawkish and ubiquitously present within this administration. The man in the WH is a perfect vehicle for their policies...disconnected, uncurious, dependent. Inevitable that they would influence his policies well that certainly clarifies where you're coming from.........basically a conspiracy theory. Thanks for the direct answer.
