My purpose in setting this thread up was for it to become an informational forum, the sharing of referenced intelligent material and meaningful opinion. Now I can't control what people will do. At best, from time to time I can make a statement in an effort to make this more of a quality thread, but ultimately folks will do what they'll do. For some GOPwingers who only wish to antagonize, I use SI's Ignore feature, and I recommend others do as well. I just think it'd be nice to have a forum where someone can go to it and quick reference the hot topics of the time period and not get bogged down by petty debate. Now, I don't believe all debate is petty and I've been in my fair share of them, but I do believe that those who would debate here serve to detract from the information otherwise presented on this thread. And we've got great info--why have it get lost in a back and forth bicker? I hope this clarifies my thinking in the matter.
