It occurs to me that this week wasn't the greatest as far as economic reports go. Unemployment up, retail sales somewhat lame, Trade deficit up significantly and consumer confidence down sharply - this doesn't seem consistent with the bull's assumption the economy is on the verge of dramatic acceleration. Could be the economy is already starting to implode.

Still no big sell off in stocks though (yet).......though you can put me with the 15% who are bears camp

Hey Buddy, A few years ago you mentioned GOLD and what r u doing today? Tough to call these election year markets..you never know who is working behind the scenes (and it's not M. Lewinsky anymore).

Any hint of higher interest rates and this leveraged economy and housing market should go South in a hurry.
