1998 to now...no inspections and no WMDs...reconstitute what? You have been had man...your $$ and american blood is the price.

So you'd be fine with Hussein sitting on his capability (against UN resolutions) and crossing your fingers that that capability doesn't make it into terrorist hands one day? At the same time, watching him continue to brutalize his people, which was ok to stop in Bosnia, but now is not a problem?

In addition, it's ok to build up forces on his border every few years to keep him in his box, and continue to piss off the bin-laden types with our continuous presence there.

We could have kept that up for a long time I guess.

It sounds to me that anything short of a super-sized scud missile with WMD pointing at us is "compliance" to you.

IMO it's better to fix it now before he becomes another North Korea.
