I would have been happier with a few more mos of Fox-like "goldilocks economy" proclamations from republicans. They really were drinking their own koolaid late last year when those fudged GDP numbers came out. A few more mos of that is better than their *awareness* that they have a problem with polls showing Bush in the tank. Ah well, there is no catalyst for Bush to recover except maybe, maybe a capture of Osama. And with the worker devastation I don't think even Osama would save Bush.
