Thats absolutely true. Divorces are suppossed to be harder to get, but since they are not, the marriage contract certainly isn't what it used to be or maybe what it never was in this country. Now we have divorce, paternity suits, custody battles, child support, alimony payments, and the highest incarcerated population as a percentage of population in the world, maybe even the largest incarcerated population too. I think we have to have one of the highest percentages of bad parents single and otherwise in the world. Paternity, custody battles, child support and alimony are very very very poor replacements for marriage, but thats what we got.
