Baloney! The kind of fighter jets that Bush piloted -- F-102 Delta Dagger fighter-interceptors, were NEVER meant to be deployed in Vietnam. So no matter how badly the Air Force's needs were, Dumbya's unit would never go to Vietnam.

Pappy was careful in choosing the right division for Sonny. All Sonny knew was to ask that he wanted his own butt to be saved while the others were sent to die.
