I'd have to agree with his assessments. When I entered the IT industry it was "timesharing" -- mainframes ruled the day...I was with ADP Network Services (long gone now-- PCs hit the marketplace)...one of the many offerings was AG's Econometric Modeling Services...we had a very tight relationship with him and his firm...we sold very little -- and I handled the Federal Market. Most agreed the services and modeling tools were worthless. Eventually his firm waned into nothingness...he continued with his appearances/speeches....then out of the blue he got the post with the FED....we could never figure out how in the world he made that happen...everyone agreed it was through his old connections...
