Just heard something that makes me suspicious that it might very well have been the Clintons who somehow released the Kerry affair rumor. An organization that backs Hillary Clinton has recently started draft Hillary ads. Maybe the Clintons underestimated Bush's weakness this yr & have decided she should give it a go. I hope it's not true, because I can't vote for her either.

Why won't the Dems get behind Edwards or Dean? They both strike me as a great alternative to Bush Adm. They're not radically to the left--more to the middle and they both emphasize jobs & taking Wash back for average citizens.
It's beyond me why Dems don't see them as the best chance to beat Bush.

I don't have a high opinion of Feinstein. I recall her chats with Ashcroft b4 he was confirmed as
Attorney General and Feinstein voted for that horrible Medicare bill, but she is your senator,
so you know more about her.

I think a Kerry Presidency will be dull but the upside is that I'll be able to spend my time
on other matters that I enjoy.
