Larry, Hi!! RE: I hadn't intended to turn this into a political discussion. Antitrust laws are on the books for a long, long time. A company that is dominating their markets is closely watched by the Justice Department. I don't think Microsoft was doing anything illegal. However, the Justice Department still brought antitrust lawsuits against them. Considering the Microsoft settlement, I guess they admitted to braking the antitrust laws. Well, it's too often political...Just ask any large long term shareholder if the $$$ given by SUNW to the Clinton Campaign wasn't a factor... :o) I hope you don't believe that DELL is doing anything that doesn't just fall under the scope of being anything but a fierce competitor...MSFT did pull some strings keeping software "MSFT friendly"... :o) DELL's not packaging anything other than value... And, as for China...DELL's been there for sometime and has two facilities...Employing many Chinese...Fortune carried a wonderful article on this three or perhaps four summers ago...DELL has been welcomed by this country...Everywhere DELL goes they provide a service and a product at a bargain...Their Direct Relationships are the basis of their business...Their Performance is that basis of their value...And, Quality is the basis of every single task...This is obviously DELL's mission...And, has been for some time... Larry, I don't see how anyone can catch them...EVERY item they sell is profitable...every single one...IMO that speaks volumes...Especially when they're digging after all the other ones that are worth bringing into their ever increasing revenue...And, some of these new items are what is keeping others afloat... Muhammad Ali used to say: "Impossible is nothing"...Well, being from Phila and I was a Joe Frazier fan... but, Ali has a point...DELL will likely own it all someday if no one can step up to the plate and provide what they do...
