No doubt you're right, Mq, from the perspective of a saner world. I guess the weird ones have driven us to the same degree of weirdness as they suffer from.

On the other hand, that post will be taken seriously by any professional counterintelligence types that happen across these boards, and it might cost you a considerable amount of hassle if you were ever to come to this country. I hope not, but I'm afraid it's a possibility.

Ask the thousands of families of victims of 9/11 if they can get a giggle from your post...and the soldiers in Iraq...

Your comparing it to WW2...there is no comparison...enemy and friend were transparent in the fields...not in this situation...

Sense of humor has it's place. But when one is dealing with a dangerous force that is interwoven in the fabric of our country...note recent arrest of a US soldier apprehended before diverting classified material to Al Quaeda...I do not think it is funny. Especially coming from someone who apparently does not live here(basing that from the responses you received from Tom)...

The US was complacent and thought Al Q was "a joke" couldn't do us any harm...I hope other individuals and countries are not making the same mistake.
