I watched the carnage from my home, which is on the glide path into the Pentagon. You couldn't know that so I'm telling you. I was and continue to be very aware of the jets. I was very aware on that fateful day of the talk of shooting that last plane down if it reached us, which could have sent it right into my house. You can't wave your Brooklyn Bridge at me. My reaction was different from yours. Reactions aren't universal.
