If you are serious,

Mq, it doesn't matter whether I'm serious or can recognize satire. Years ago I was in the Canadian foreign service and remember well that the security people were very unhumorous folks.

Which is hilarious given what goes on in the view of children all day every day

Agree totally. The only ones shocked were the parents. It was standard fare for the kids.

MQ ..excitement over the upper bulge of Janet's right...

The American reaction to Janet Jackson's Superbowl antic is puzzling. The visceral fury expressed by the FCC is reminiscent of the Taleban's hate of women. I half expected Janet to be taken out into the middle of the stadium, forced to kneel and shot in the back of the neck like was done in Kabul and elsewhere. Shades of tha Handmaiden's Tale.

Decline and fall of the American Empire? I think not.
