Party Time - The Pentagon is deliberately understating the numbers. That is one issue. And the casualties are much larger than most people believe.

But the other issue is the long term damage to those who were apparently unharmed during combat - perhaps due to exposure to depleted uranium or unsafe vaccines.

It is claimed that 200,000 of our veterans of the first Gulf war are on disability. Or one in three who participated in any way

That is a staggering number which never gets the attention it deserves.

Wars are expensive and highly destructive of health, happiness and prosperity. For both the losers and the victors.

We never seem to get it. Most unfortunately for our soldiers and their loved ones. Ultimately, we are all victims of this war. And a very unnecessary one at that.
