The plan is facing more serious obstacles from both the American and the international communities and it's backfiring. The neocons have tested their limit about their power through the Iraq war. If they still push it ahead, they will suffer more backlash.

The situation seems more likely to lead the major international powers to a new cold war instead in the coming years. Let's wait and see.
