Well, if they were "too dumb to do it right",
that is not the same thing as saying that the general
move toward privatization and free markets was
incorrect.

You are throwing the baby out with the bath water.
It a gross oversimplification on your part to just
say that "it didn't work for them".

The problem in Argentina was mainly a currency
crisis. It was caused by FIXING their currency
in an over-valued condition for too long -- the
ANTITHESIS of a "free market"!
