The fact is, Kerry and Fonda never worked together.
So what if they met and spoke at the same or similar events? GW Bush spoke at Bob Jones University four years ago. Does that mean he's a segregationist cracker in league with David Duke and the Aryan Brotherhood?

The photo you talk about is two years before Fonda went to Hanoi. Kerry disapproved of that trip. Fonda was just an activist celebrity then, no different than many. She was also very beautiful and foxy. I don't blame any guy for wanting to be close to her.

The fact was also that the war was a terrible deadly morass at that time (100 times the casualty count as Iraq now) and it was the RIGHT thing to do to try and bring our guys home. Fonda was right though her method was wrong.

There are very few people around who actually feel the Vietnam War was righteous. Maybe back in 1963-1965 it made sense, but not by 1969-1971. By then even Nixon was coming around and promising to end it. Also, Bush says he supported the Vietnam War. If so, then why did he avoid it? And why did Kerry volunteer to go fight it? That last question is what the GOP is trying to cover up with this silly Fonda photo search.
