Hi Vi,
I do not agree with your view on the dollar. You are only accounting for one half of the flow of dollars. Foreigners have increased their buying of US Debt and equities. The lower the dollar goes the more they invest in dollars.

The Dollar's Value


NPR's Bob Edwards talks to David Wessel, deputy bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal, about the U.S. dollar's relative weakness, compared to other major currencies. To offset the U.S. trade deficit, the federal government has been borrowing more from abroad. Wessel says that's working at present, but could drive interest rates upward in the longer term.
