Chinu. Good article and it points out very clearly that the islam dictatorship kind of government is a failure no matter where it is. This is something I have always believed.

As chuck indicated, this has nothing to do with Islam. It is all about money. I did some research on the web and found out that this selling of nuclear secrets originated in China to counter the advances made by India in the nuclear area. This Khan guy stole nuclear secrets from Europe and imported it into Pakistan.

But then it got out of hand and now the Islamic hardliners in Pakistan, who Khan is a part of, now have access to nuclear secrets and hence it can lead to proliferation to other countries. Wouldn't be surprised if that is where Iran got theirs from.

Here is another post from me on the same subject.

Abdul Kalam did not work onthe nuclear bomb. He worked on the missile and other aeronautic projects.

He is currently the president of India, and helping set the scientfic research, his role is like an elderly advisor. President of India is like Queen of England with no executive powers.
