That was a great column. Michael Kelly was a great journalist, unwilling to succumb to gross partisanship despite his own Democratic and liberal tendencies. May he rest in peace.......

It's going to be a bruhaha of an election, a real street brawl. You have democrats saying that George Bush represents the end of civilization as we know it, and republicans saying that Kerry would give Bin Laden a key to the city.

Truth is the President is not a dictator, his power is quite limited, and the system is set up to prevent dramatic change in any particular direction.
