I don't know about other states but CT is going to have a problem in not too many years and people will wish they could get a tradesman for $70 an hour. Talked to an old union bricky guy I know a few weeks ago. He said the average age in CT now for brick layers is over 55 years old now and some of the trades aren't that much better off. Kids are just not going into trades like we used to and at some point there is going to be a hell of a shortage. I'll it happens I'll give ya a call and we can do consultant work for $300-$400 bucks an hour. I have no idea who is going to do the work. LOL!
