Just the point, no evidence or witnesses except now one guy who says he saw GW one day while others say they never saw him and were looking for him. Hard to deny he was AWOL. Every one of us could prove we were somewhere for 7 months in 1972, but a famous guy like GW cannot. for one thing, if he were training then, he'd have Guard buddies. They'd remember.
