Kerry has always done better than dean against Bush in almost every poll ever conducted. That's just a fact you cannot debate.

Dean can't compete with Bush because of the national security issues. That's the main reason why voters overwhelmingly have chosen Kerry, because when it ooked like DEan would be the nominee the GOP was already celebrating. We want to win, not give GW Bush a gift.

Why are we debating this anyway? Dean has lost and is going to endorse Kerry within the week. Dean has made it tough on himself though. His mistake was lying to voters that Kerry is somehow corrupt. That was a mistake Dean will have to hang his head over for a long time. It's one thing to say "I'm better" but another thing to accuse someone of something they are totally innocent of, sounding like Ed Gillespie there. Pretty sickening.

Kerry has one of the cleanest records in congress and Dean knows it. No PAC or soft money, never for sale. On fundraising ethics, Kerry's record is just as good as Dean's if not better. Among the best in DC.
