I do think it's telling that he thinks it's a good idea to run without a foreign policy.

Think about it Nadine. He's not a stupid man. If he plans to be President, he must have at least a pretty good sketch in his mind of what he would do. But he hasn't shared it with us. Why not?

Maybe because he wants to keep his options open given that the situation over there is fluid. He doesn't have to articulate it before the debates so why should he? Or maybe he just doesn't want to turn off any primary voters so he keeps saying things that people can interpret to suit themselves.

Delay is in his interests if he wants to get elected.

I do think it's telling

What's telling is that he wants to get elected.

It also suggests to me that, when we finally hear what he's thinking, it will be more hawkish than some primary voters want it to be.
