Yes, but they are the primary voters and we are in primary season. The election is another matter. Those voting in November rank it higher on this list so it will have to be higher on his list.

I don't know enough to have an opinion. I think any Democrat would be less likely to attack a new country than Bush would. Bush might well just keep racking them up. A Dem would not be so inclined, I don't think. But would a Democrat hit a particular country that posed a particular threat, I wouldn't rule it out as you apparently do. Don't forget, Bush has set a precedent. And even your model for Democratic behavior took a few shots. It will be easier for the next guy to take the plunge.
