I have not opposed that view. My point was that Freud does not meet hard scientific conditions regardless of his genius. Freud's theories of the unconscious are conjectural and biased. They are not falsifiable and are thus unscientific. His axioms (as I said) are presumptive and not dictated by any logical necessity.

I am the last person to deny his genius. That is not at all what I am saying...
