Funny, isn't it -- that the Libs managed to paint the Mulroney regime as corrupt. Well, Lyin Brian is looking one hell of a lot better in hindsight. I was one of the people who turned in their PC party card in the mid-80s as it became increasingly clear that there was precious little that was 'conservative' about them. One of the great lost opportunities of our history was the shelving of the Nielson report. If they'd acted on it, and got serious about controlling spending, we'd be in a very different place today.
