People who have only lead affluent lives, live by affluence alone. Once the going gets tough, they don't have anything to fall back on. They lose their perspective.

Every time I was in Germany and the economy was good the country's mood was upbeat, one would sense it in the air.
Whenever the economy as bad, the people sink into a gloomy mood. Another thing: the culprits are always out there, 10.000 Km away.

Now compare that to Brazil and Brazilians, the mood is always the same, despite the economy performance. But I could recall the gravy train mood during Y2K, those voices instead of just stopping laughing, are now clinching teeth and full of rage.

Look to Elmat, have you ever read a ROTFLMAO from me to counter argue any participant? Have you ever read me calling a participant here a moron? Never!
Why that? Because when I laugh I don't have to post and I let my analysis prove the other guy is a moron instead of calling names. The guys always know they are being calling a moron without me ever uttering the name.

sharp observation - seems like we're all about to sneeze;
when in danger or in doubt,
run in circles, scream and shout
