Oh for heaven's sake, a lot of those mass graves were from the Iran_iraq war, a war in which we supported both sides with weapons and supplied Iraq with intelligence as well in order to ensure that Iran didn't win. The goal, according to one Reagan admin official, was to keep the war going as long as possible, since as long as they were fighting and killing each other, they weren't creating mischief in other parts of the world.

Don't you wonder why they only talk about the mass graves a little, instead of trumpeting it every chance they get?

Which isn't to say that Saddam didn't do some of that all on his own. Or to defend him. Don't put those words in my mouth.

Were mass graves and ethnic cleansing a big factor for the republicans in the late nineties when we knew it was happening in Kosovo?!?!?!?
