When you think about it, the delivery of a small piece of paper in a couple of days from someone 1600 miles away is a pretty miraculous thing.

When you think that in England 100 years ago they had three mail deliveries a day, that you could send out an invitation for dinner in the morning and have a reply by mid-afternoon so you knew whether to tell the cook they were coming, what we have today doesn't seem so miraculous to me, personally.

Now faxes, THOSE are miraculous.

I can't say that my management doesn't care- I'd put them more in the 'openly hostile' category. We try to work around the roadblocks they set for us.
